A single suburban father (Kevin James) works at a mall as a security guard to make ends meet, and he takes his job very seriously, even though most of his colleagues and customers don't. He realizes no one knows the place better than he does, and he mounts his trusty steed, a Segway, and goes to the rescue.

Because I'm a glutton for punishment, I revisited Paul Blart: Mall Cop. The plot is dumb, the Kevin James slapstick humor is dumb, the movie is dumb. The only reason I'm not going lower with this score is because it does have a few moments where I chuckled. A few. This movie is harmless, but it is far from innocent of crimes against film. Avoid avoid avoid.

Ok we all knew it wasn't going to be great or memorable but some jokes are funny, Not many but it's more of a family film, It did feel like a comedy remake of Die Hard at times, It's nothing great but maybe kids will enjoy it more.

Kevin James is a one man army in the goofball comedy Paul Blart: Mall Cop. When a skater gang attempts to rob a shopping mall on Black Friday and takes hostages, it's up to security guard Paul Blart to save the day. The comedy is poorly written and incredibly juvenile, yet James and co-star Jayma Mays manage to make some of it work. However, while a couple of the sketches are funny, overall the film is extremely stupid. Paul Blart: Mall Cop delivers a few laughs, but it's just too dumb to enjoy.

Surprisingly better than other comedies following the same formulaic plot. Mall Cop follows a screwball security guard in a mall under-siege by robbers. It's ridiculous but actually quite fun to watch thanks to James' performance.
