That being said, there are a few nuggets of real wisdom to be found hidden amongst the fortune-cookie philosophy spouted by Not-Mr.-Miyagi. The main issue with this film is that both of the leads are insufferable assholes so it’s hard to root for them. It’s more interesting as a true-ish biopic than as an entertaining drama. Que é feita por Socrates (Nick Nolte) e bem interpretado por ele. Onde ele pega o jovem Dan que é universitário como seu pupilo. E como universitário ele vive esta vida de orgia, bebedeira e sem responsabilidade e rebeldia. Será que Socrates terá sabedoria para domar este jovem. Ele Dan é um ginasta que busca uma vaga na seleção americana na ginástica de argola. Mas sua vida de rebeldia tem atrapalhado a sua alta performance. E onde aparece Socrates como mecânico e frentista de um posto. E inicia o relacionamento dos 2. 1 Rebelde o outro rígido em sua diciplina. O garoto vai se envolvendo mas no meio do percurso se revolta e que voltar novamente a oque era. Porém seu proposito disperta intensamente e ele retorna.
