Dr. Keith Bauers (Alex McArthur) is married to Melanie (Kathleen Quinlan) but is also having an affair with their French au pair, Janine (Lydie Denier). When Melanie's sister, Paula (Anne Ramsay), finds out about the affair, Janine kills her. Soon Melanie turns up dead as well. It is then left to Melanie's friend Laney (Teri Garr) and police detective Ryker (Héctor Elizondo) to find out the truth about the murders as they dig into Dr. Bauers' secret past.

nick s The first half was quite good but the second half felt tonally inconsistent. It started to lean toward the buddy cop genre, which fell out of step with the rest of the movie. The plot was a bit cliché. Acting was at a reasonable standard as was the camera work. Overall not memorable but perfectly watchable. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/25 Full Review Read all reviews
