Sara, a biochemistry professor, is recovering from divorce and slight nervous breakdown. Her boyfriend is fun, smokes a little pot, drives an ice cream truck but has a condition called 'lazy sperm.' She has invited over graduate student, Wren, and her fiancé, Mark, in a quest to get his sperm. Each of these flawed characters is trying to get what they want and maintain both their fragile love and tenuous sanity. It is both funny and sad at the same time.

Pescador is for sure a Comedy that may not be everybody's cup of tea. And in spite its low-key ending, the resolution delivers a moment of clarity from the main characters that makes it easy to relate to, no matter what your mental state might be.

A hilarious and entertaining comedy. In search of the sperm of her student's fiancé, Sara will try to put a positive spin on her life while we discover a story that unfolds peculiarly. Well-directed by Michael Erger, it achieves fresh and natural performances, the photography is also outstanding, but my favorite part is the moral of the story. I highly recommend it!

I thought this was a little gem of a movie. It had everything -- comedy, heart, unique storytelling, good acting and tons of quirk. Not your usual rom com or dramedy, which I appreciated. I noticed the writer was also the director and actor. I look forward to seeing what he does next.

A well written script, Dark comedy, and great acting! I was drawn in and sold. This is why I love Indy films so much. The cinematography was great and my family gave me kudos for selecting a great Indy film for our weekly weekend watch! My character who stole this film was Billy. And that's all I will say except check it out.
