Based on J. M. Barrie's novel "Peter and Wendy" and inspired by the 1953 animated classic, "Peter Pan & Wendy" is the timeless tale of a young girl who, defying her parents' wishes to attend boarding school, travels with her two younger brothers to the magical Neverland. I absolutely cannot perceive this picture normally. It is poorly filmed, poorly acted and poorly presented in the film there is not a hint of the atmosphere of a fairy tale. Neverland is shown terribly, everything happens in some kind of semi-dark gray tones. Scarce fields, scarce scenery, inexpressive, mise-en-scene. And it all looks more like a cheap film with bad visuals and problematic graphics.Instead of telling the final moral of the original book, that sometimes you need to keep the child in you, the film wants to tell us that growing up is not so bad. There are so many interesting things ahead of us: loans, mortgages, exams, a lot of responsibility, family, children.Well, all this is reinforced by the terrible actor who plays Peter Pan. He absolutely cannot play the cheerful and optimistic Peter from the cartoon, only despondency and unnaturalness emanate from him. Actually, as I did with the whole film as a whole.
