Based on J. M. Barrie's novel "Peter and Wendy" and inspired by the 1953 animated classic, "Peter Pan & Wendy" is the timeless tale of a young girl who, defying her parents' wishes to attend boarding school, travels with her two younger brothers to the magical Neverland. There is swashbuckling and the ticking crocodile and Smee, but the narrative always feels perfunctory and inert possibly because there’s just no spark between any of the characters, least of all Wendy and Peter, who is portrayed as a sulky kind of chap.

In good faith, PETER PAN & WENDY could be operating under a second language where kids could eat this up and grown-ups are left scratching their heads at the things that didn’t happen: thrills, original dialogue, or any swelling of emotion.

It's not as good as the original. It's decent, I feel like the problem was lack of enchantment, lack of magic, and lack of general visuals. The actors themselves are not to blame, they did well in the roles they were given. Wendy was off due to the time period this took place in, her actress though delivered perfectly. I much prefer the Disney's classic Peter Pan, or Universals live action of it, and maybe even Pan. Yet, this is a good watch when I feel up to it. It is decent at most. I'm sure the actors themselves had a blast playing these characters especially if they grew up with them. So a 3/5 is the best I can give it.

How to make one of the greatest entertaining stories and make it mind numbingly boring. This disney remake figured out how. Rough acting from the main characters. And it felt like there was a representation checklist that this film wanted to prioritize over good storytelling. I gave half a star for jude law cuz he does a good job. Just watch the original

This Disney live-action remake is an example of why originality is dead. With a lazy story, weak acting, cheap writing, unengaging action & a completely bourne out message of growing up Peter Pan & Wendy is one of (if not) the worst Disney live-action remakes ever made.

My least favourite movie adaptation but I still enjoyed it. The movie is dark and sad. It lacks the magic and spark that the Peter Pan story entails. Some of the acting is a bit wooden from Peter Pan and some of the other child actors.
