What to Know

Critics Consensus

Continuing the trend of schlocky puerile remakes, Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare guts a beloved character for low-brow horror that never manages to take flight.

Whether “Nightmare” will remain a surprisingly artful aberration within a generally despised subgenre, or prove a harbinger of that category’s ongoing redemption, is as yet anyone’s guess. Go to Full Review
John Serba Decider Sep 10
Director Chambers compensates for the lack of creativity by dumping buckets of slippery slippery blood all over the sets, and maintaining a tone typically reserved for a search for bodies at a bombing site. Go to Full Review

It’s pure copyrightsploitation nonsense, a fact that even the film itself is aware of, and as that it delivers an appropriately bonkers ride that you’re either on board with or you’re not, even with all its strengths and weaknesses. Go to Full Review

This exploitation film turns Peter Pan into a disturbed man who kidnaps and murders children. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

At 90 minutes, Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare feels long, which it shouldn't. Go to Full Review

The fact that such a sordid plot is based on the well-known story of Peter Pan adds a repulsive element, which works very well as a reinterpretation of the original text. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Jun 24 If you have no idea what this film is about stay for fighting scene alone. You will not be disappointed. See more Jan 20 tbh i was surprised how good the movie was … definitely a 80s b movie slasher vibes … it was fun don’t look to into it . the story is about peter pan meets black phone / halloween ( new trilogy) but the ended scene is what we should’ve seen in hallloween. peter pan himself character is amazing See more Jan 20 You won't be disappointed...Peter Pan and Tinkerbell shooting up Pixie Dust🤣🤣...classic...I enjoyed every bit of it See more Jan 20 So much better than I expected it would be and is a kabillion times better than the 2 Winnie the Pooh movies that preceded this movie.they must have gotten a new makeup and sfx team for this one. Had to have . Because the make up and sfx were so much better. The acting was actually good too thats usually not the case in a low budget independent horror movie. Peter Pan was especially good. His voice alone creeped me out See more Jan 20 I found the movie to be much darker than the previous Twisted Childhood universe movies but much more realistic to a degree and very entertaining peter Pan is an excellent villain and how they twisted the image of Peter Pan as well as his world including Tinkerbell and Hook was creative and inventive but also disturbing. I look forward to the next movies in this universe See more Jan 19 It is not worth paying to go see!!! See more Read all reviews
