matthias s **★★★☆☆** If you’ve seen *Piet Piraat* on TV, you already know exactly what you’re getting with *Piet Piraat en de Betoverende Kroon.* It’s basically a longer episode—same goofy charm, fun jokes, and over-the-top pirate antics. The sets are simple but work fine, and the plot is light and entertaining. I was never the biggest fan of the movie compared to the show, but it still kept me entertained the whole time. It’s classic Studio 100: nothing fancy, but reliably fun. If you loved the series, this movie feels like slipping back into a familiar (and very silly) adventure.
