Joe K Probably the best Nicolas Cage movie he's put out in a while. It's actually good. It's not one of those "Hur Dur Nic Cage haha" kinda good ones. The story is great and he does a really good job in this one. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/29/21 Full Review SCOTT L PIG was terrific.Beautifully filmed metaphor for what has value in our lives. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/20/21 Full Review John Cage delivers a subtle performance that explores grief. Somber but entertaining. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/17/21 Full Review JD Extremely misleading movie. NOT a thriller, 0 action, little meaning, very unclear. Those who like it are people attracted to any art house film. WHO is the main character? WHAT is the point? The pig did NOT have to die Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/15/21 Full Review Richard P Nic Cage is the bait and hook into going to see this movie. How much further can his natural character evolve as this phase in his career? Assuming it was slowing down…I was wrong. Nic Cages performance of a dark deranged former top line chef pushes all limits and provokes a confused range of emotion from the crowd. I didn’t know when to laugh, I didn’t know when to cry, and I believe that’s the true meaning of Labor Day. Worth the watch for fellow Cage fans Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/24/21 Full Review Sebastian Really slow and boring movie. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 08/10/21 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Wenlei Ma News.com.au If you have an open mind, you will be rewarded with a melancholic and poignant story, and a superb, triumphant performance from Cage who has no trouble reminding audiences that he is an Oscar winner capable of incredible range and depth. Rated: 3.5/5 Nov 2, 2021 Full Review Jake Wilson The Age (Australia) There are few actors who could pull off this tonal balancing act as successfully as Cage... Over the years, some have questioned how far he's in on his own joke -- but at this point, there's no doubting his finely tuned sense of the ridiculous. Rated: 3.5/5 Oct 13, 2021 Full Review Alexandra Heller-Nicholas ABC Radio (Australia) A deeply moving film with twists and turns that few could see coming, Pig is - amongst other things - a timely reminder of just how good Nicolas Cage is at his job. Rated: 5/5 Sep 22, 2021 Full Review Marya E. Gates Cool People Have Feelings, Too. (Substack) Cage [gives] his best, most fully realized performance in decades. Feb 13, 2024 Full Review Grant Watson Fiction Machine I missed seeing Pig on its original release, and that was my mistake. Do not make the same one. This is vital, unmissable cinema. Rated: 10/10 Sep 5, 2023 Full Review Mo Muzammal Vague Visages Cage elevates Sarnoski’s visuals. The actor is a vortex of emotions that quietly burn beneath a lonely exterior.
