Though this sleazy, somewhat cheeky film about real-life serial killer Robert 'Willy' Pickton may turn off some viewers, its well-executed gore, great set design, and a potentially career-best performance from Jake Busey offer much to appreciate. Go to Full Review
John Townsend Starburst 11/27/2023

Portraying Pickton as a damaged, often confused sociopath, Jake Busey does his best with the material, bringing an erratic, fevered portrayal to a difficult, somewhat flimsily written role. But there are few other positives. Go to Full Review

Pig Killer comes off exploitive and wanting to shock which it fails at throughout. Go to Full Review

Mark M Sep 27 Pig Killer is an absolute mess, but it's an unintentionally hilarious one. The acting is atrocious and the plot is baffling. The only thing genuinely good is the soundtrack, which is fantastic. A perfect "so bad it's good" experience. 5 out of 10 🤙 from this guy. See more Chuck C Apr 13 LOVE the soundtrack!!! See more Fred L Apr 10 Love it! An over the top, in your face exploitive take on the true crime sub genre with an amazing soundtrack. See more Iamwhoi M Mar 2 As others have said, the soundtrack is rather nonsensical and often too loud. It's your average low budget, badly acted sloppy storyline flick that is "inspired by" but doesn't tell the real story of the real pig farmer. Ginger Lynn is showing her P again, if that interests anyone anymore.....otherwise, and even so, it's very forgettable. See more Nancy B Feb 4 Bad acting with alot of factual errors See more Raiodesol S 10/29/2024 There is such thing as too much soundtrack. This movie really needed someone to just cut all the songs and sounds that don’t fit the scenes or just go on for too long. Other than that, the movie obviously lacks the budget, and it shows, even if, with the kills and the gore, it’s well made and good enough to pass. Can’t say that about the acting though, the main characters actor and his brother are the only ones that seem to know what they’re doing. The script is a mess, with actual good scenes followed by terrible and pointless sequences that don’t help the narrative. It’s fun enough to watch, but it drags. See more Read all reviews
