Barbara Shulgasser Common Sense Media Pilecki's Report is beautifully made and Przemyslaw Wyszynski's performance as Pilecki is impeccable. But the film's jumpy construction seems designed to undermine its own best qualities. Jun 26, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Ihor P My father (Ukrainian) was in that horse brigade in Poland and when I started to watch this movie, I became him and felt what he might have felt during the entire viewing. I’ve seen other WW2 movies to fully understand that time ,but this one was more visceral and raw in its portrayal of what Poland must have been going through its “two enemies” time. An understanding of historical background would help in understanding the many dilemmas people faced. The two hour movie flashed by quickly and I am left with wanting to know more. Excellent acting, scenery and sets, and photography. Not comfortable but essential. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/04/25 Full Review Read all reviews
