Audience Member It felt as if the film was trying to do a school project it had 2 months to work on in a night. The pacing was so strange, and a lot felt like it was omitted from the plot to keep the important part of the narrative moving. The “big reunion” was delegated to a singular 1 minute scene. He goes “it’s been 15 years” she’s like “yeah it sure has” and then he goes “what a reunion”. The acting also felt like the bare minimum level of effort from the whole cast. Like they shot everything in a single take and went “I’m sure that’ll be fine probably”. All this culminated in a film that wasn’t so good. To be entirely fair to the film, it wasn’t meant to be remembered. These were made on shoestring budgets, with Z grade directors, and were supposed to be played before the real spectacles of the night. So the fact that I was able to watch a film that only existed for filler in the year 2025 sure is something. It’s funny to me that Max decided against releasing Batgirl, but has this on their platform. A sign of the struggle at Warner bros. 1/5 stars. It’s just whatever.
