Pixie Hardy sets out to avenge her mother's death and attempts a heist that will give her the means to leave her small-town life behind. First movie I watched in theater after the covid shutdown let up. It was smart, mean and wickedly funny. It was exactly what I needed to see. Sad that Covid robbed if of any chance for success. Olivia Cooke managed an amazing feat in the '20s, a smart strong woman who was sexy, feminine and didn't hate men. I actually liked Alec Baldwins performance in this too which amazed me. It didn't hurt that everybody in the movie, including the hero was a scumbag. How refreshing.
