Audience Member Marco Berger really knows how to show and how to handle emotion. In all of his creations the way he uses the camera is to create an atmosphere, a means to feel the tension that is building. He really has masteres in doing that, showing emotions, creating tension, narrating thoughts with his camera work. This is his very early movie and still it is really good, and feels like an early draft of what will come to be "Hawaii" his most perfect work till now. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Bruno sees his ex-girlfriend Laura with her new lover and becomes super jealous and obsessed with getting her back. Initially he works his way back into her bed, but she refuses to get back together with him. After finding out her new lover, Pablo has previously been with a man, he hatches a plan b and ingratiates himself into Pablo's life in order to start rumours about him that will get back to Laura. This backfires when he gets along with Pablo better than expected, so much that his feelings take a turn he never anticipated. A sterling feature debut from Marco Berger tells a clever story well. The cinematography is very obsessed with the static camera shot and this has a tendency to slow down the pacing somewhat. A witty script is well acted and the original new-bromance story is novel. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member The two leads are no flower boys and yet really beautiful. Bruno's Plan B is a screwed up plan to start with but it's fun and then moving to see Bruno plot only to fall for his target, get lost, confused and then in love. The pace is slow but it makes the end super rewarding !! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member A slow burning gay love story with some great performances from the cast. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Definitely not the typical love story, and not for every viewer, but it came across as believable in the film's reality, though I doubt most men would ever do this. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member For a guy that isn't usually into sitting through foreign movies by myself this movie had me begging for more.
