Audience Member I was thrilled to get my first press screening for Plan B. At first, I doubted its legitimacy, given my small channel, but seeing names like Jamie Lee and Jon Heder confirmed it was the real deal. Plan B starts as a light-hearted indie comedy but reveals itself as a surprisingly heartwarming journey. The plot is simple: after a night with her awkward neighbor Evan (Heder), rebellious Piper Brennan (Jamie Lee) finds herself pregnant. Realizing Evan isn’t her ideal partner, she tries finding someone more suited, only to question her choices when she meets Cameron, a seemingly perfect match. While Plan B isn’t an award contender, its talented cast and direction by Brandon Tamburri make it memorable. Jamie Lee’s performance is the heart of the film, bringing humor and emotional depth, while Heder and Subhah Agarwal as Maya, Piper’s friend, add solid support. Fun appearances by Tom Berenger, Shannon Elizabeth, and a hilarious cameo by Vernon Davis round out the cast. Despite its modest budget, Plan B is a hidden gem with genuine humor and a heartfelt message. I saw Vernon Davis was not only in this, but advertised as the main still for this movie. He was great in this but I'm not sure why they showed him as the main image because he's only in it for like 10 minutes. They probably think people will watch it from seeing him.
