Marcus well, it was a movie. for whatever reason Prime has it listed as a comedy. I can guarantee the creators had not intended for it to be a comedy. take that information and do with it what you will. everyone has noted that this is a diluted Waterworld with sharks. what no one has mentioned is that most of it was clearly shot from the shore in water 2 feet deep. the world is entirely water in this movie, and these floating cities are supposed to be floating on deep waters. so it was pretty funny at around the 27 minute mark you can see a family of people standing in water up to their hips in their swimsuits several metres out in the upper left hand corner. one guy turns around to watch the actors fight the air (which was later filled in with cg sharks). it must've looked pretty strange to him because even at a distance he looks puzzled. anyway, that was the highlight of the movie. the fact that no one apparently caught it and tried to edit it out before release pretty much says everything about the movie that needs to be said Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/20/23 Full Review Audience Member I always root for the sharks against barbaric humans. This movie. Oddly, did not look bad as far as a b-movie. But, how do they fail to notice squeaky clean spears and decks after a round of bloody shark killings? This is lazy. Very amateur. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Bernard K Lots of action and special effects. I liked it anyway, a story about how people can be creative. Bonus: lots of women in charge and doing real work.
