Synopsis
A young English woman, Alison Kirbe (Deborah Kerr), inherits a Texas ranch and heads to America to start a new and prosperous life, having no idea of the sort of man trouble she'll attract. A gambler in debt, Terence Keath (Robert Walker), pursues her. But so does another bachelor on the hunt, playboy Jeremy Taylor (Peter Lawford), who is traveling with his lawyer, Matthew Kinston (Mark Stevens), to whom Kirbe is most attracted. Unfortunately for her, he thinks she's running a scam.
