Craig Mathieson Sydney Morning Herald Their group dynamic needs to figure out how to better distinguish their personas, but they’re also generous in sharing the screen. The funniest role they’ve written here goes to Meg Stalter as a deluded park ranger. Rated: 3/5 Dec 1, 2023 Full Review Randy Myers San Jose Mercury News There are some laugh-out-loud moments you won’t be able to resist, but it just gets sloppy in the end Rated: 2.5/4 Nov 27, 2023 Full Review Charles Bramesco The Daily Beast With their uneven feature vehicle Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain, the three decamp to small-town North Carolina as doofuses far outside showbiz, though “Ben,” “Martin,” and “John” remain suspended in a state of arrested adolescence. Nov 20, 2023 Full Review Louisa Moore Screen Zealots A one-note comedy that’s sloppily written, poorly acted, and lacks any semblance of an inspired comedic spark. Dec 30, 2023 Full Review Justine Elias The Arts Desk As is typical for an SNL-spawned movie, Treasure meanders. Unusually though, the ratio of jokes to running time remains favorable, even if some of the surprise cameos fail to amaze. Rated: 3/5 Dec 11, 2023 Full Review Jon Mendelsohn CBR Unfortunately, Please Don't Destroy's first feature-length film offers a painfully predictable story and fails to elicit almost any laughs. Macie R If you like simple fun comedies, this is the movie for you. Maybe check out a few of the groups sketches online first to see if you enjoy its frenetic comedy style. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/04/24 Full Review Jon K Its high moments are high, its ebbs ebb. Let us never speak of this again! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/25/24 Full Review Amanda B Hilarious. I laughed through to the end. Full of quips and one liners, it made me laugh as hard as the first time I saw Super Troopers. I think I watched Please Don’t Destroy the Treasure of Foggy Mountain four times the first month it was out. I’ll be laughing about it longer than Night at the Roxbury. Definitely check it out. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/17/24 Full Review Gareth D Absolutely hilarious, absurdist comedy at it's best. Really laughed out loud multiple times. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 11/01/24 Full Review Donnie B You got 3 brand new young actors come and take the screen with nothing backing them up, but this movie alone and how well the execute. Hilarious. More funny moments than not. It was cool seeing the girl the guy wanted not being some gorgeous model figure. Silly moments unique in a movie, When Clarence came out, i lost it. Watched it twice. Probably will in the future. This movie was short and sweet. Refreshingly funny. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 10/18/24 Full Review Jachym L What the hell did I just watch (not entirely)? It was not funny, not interesting. Such a waste of time.
