A young woman whose life is very boring faces puppeteer Tom, unusual funny guy See more 09/04/2008 I didn't quite realize this was such a chick flick when I went to see it -- I was the only male in the theater. A Russian take on romantic comedy, I guess, in which Masha (Madlen Dzhabrailova) communicates her character's closed-off personality by having a minimum amount of dialogue, with fully half of it spoken in that surly manner we all know and love from Moscow. Jethro Skinner's puppeteer who makes people come alive is played well, though the character is a bit of a cliche.
