corkball I'm not entirely sure what I just watched. It certainly has its moments of absurd farce, but the hard and fast rule here is it has to be consistently funny (Monty Python, Airplane, etc). It IS... in spots... but not consistently, and nothing is as cringy as a farce that isn't funny. It is certainly low budget, although that is not an issue here. The cast is B-level, but surprisingly good for the premise. Sorbo actually is fun to watch here, as is that St James guy. It is not PC at all, which is fine by me, but if you are going to do stereotypes, make it funny please. Trejo had one GREAT line though - "I didn't sneak in to this country so white people could clean their own pools". And the humor got worse as the film went along. The beginning was fine, but it just dragged at the end. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Literally the worst movie I've ever seen in my life, and not in a fun "The Room" kind of way. It's not even worth watching to make fun of. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Poolboy is very specific kind of genre: the bad on purpose kind. Which, everytime I'd seen it, had been great and hilarious, but also had been short of length. I don't know if the joke isn't good enough to last a full featured film, or if the excecution wasn't just that great, but there's plenty of misses in this hit-or-miss flick. I did find some parts hilarious and liked it in general, because it's my kind of movie, but I would understand if someone didn't liked this movie at all. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member This laugh-a-minute send up will undoubtedly entertain, IF you understand the premise, that being that this is a movie that was so terrible that it was never shown... until now. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member This might just be the movie of the century Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Well that was very dumb but had some funny parts but not like haha funny like wow did you really say that kinda funny wasn't that good of a movie in the first place Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
