Wildly imaginative and exhilaratingly over the top, Poor Things is a bizarre, brilliant tour de force for director Yorgos Lanthimos and star Emma Stone.

Rather, it’s an attempt to wake us up, to clue us into the behaviors and violences we replicate over and over again, even when we think we aren’t. And on that front alone, Poor Things is a success. Go to Full Review

Choombies Apr 29 This movie is strange in an extremely engrossing way. Emma Stone hands down delivered one of the best performances I’ve seen in a long time. I didn’t know much about this movie going into it, but I came out of the theatre happy that I gave it a chance. I most likely won’t forget this movie for the rest of my life.
