Liam Lacey Globe and Mail Both Barrett and Contreras come across as likeable and intelligently sincere, but the script, like the characters, has emotional commitment problems. Audience Member Porch Stories is a quiet little film that perfectly captures the Toronto landscape. Interlacing three main narratives with pieces of conversations of the passers by. The soundtrack is fantastic and Goodman brings a Toronto to the screen that those of us who live here experience everyday, but which is never seen on film.
