A pesar del fuerte tufo que deja a la "Batalla en el cielo" de Reygadas y al "Lake Tahoe" de Eimbcke, el resultado final es bueno aunque cojo, falto de profundidad, con los mismos errores de Eimbcke. La historia se queda a medias porque el problema no es claro y la historia de Porfirio se pierde un poco en el aburrimiento. Fuerte y muy directa, esta cinta no es para todo el mundo, hay que tener mucho cine encima para comprender a fondo este tipo de narrativa.
