In 2012, a meteorite collides with Earth, unleashing an ecological catastrophe that destroys civilization and tosses the planet into a bleak ice age. There are pockets of survivors, however, spread across the snowy planet. Among them is Capt. Tom Parker (Dean Cain), former head of security at the U.S. Embassy in Berlin, and his second-in-command, Sarah Henley (Joanna Taylor), who lead a team of scientists on an expedition into Europe to find whatever survivors there may be.

David R Ok so the question is not whether this movie is really that bad, for it certainly is, but rather whether it is SO bad as to actually be worth watching because of its badness, a la Wiseau’s The Room. The answer is more complicated than one might at first imagine, especially if one considers items that combine to make the movie doubly doubtful, like poor dialogue and bad foreign accents. “Ease up on the testosterone gentlemen!” It’s watchable if you enjoy the process of inquiry into how such things get filmed, edited and ultimately released, like I do. You may think “but surely they could have paid ten people to watch the first 30m and then asked those people whether any amount of money would help them actually finish the movie, and if the answer is no then can the thing. Yes, this isn’t a matter of taste. It’s clearly a bad movie. The existential question is: whether it’s bad enough to warrant watching. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/20/25 Full Review Audience Member Low-budget C-rated movie. The graphics were very poorly done (except for the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag Dome scenes). The dialog was was so bad it was laughable. They even threw in a ridiculous short sex scene which was not consistent with the character at all since he had dedicated his entire life to finding his wife and child. He also kept eyeing other women - pathetic. I would have stopped watching the movie almost immediately but oddly it did suck me in to wanting to know how it ended. It did get better as the movie progressed (although it was easy to predict everything, including the password which I said out loud to my husband's amazement) -- overall, really bad!! I could have made a better movie than that! Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member why does the storm never win? Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/17/19 Full Review Audience Member WOW. It is simply hard to overstate how awful this movie was. I have never seen a movie that was so awful in so many ways on so many levels. Simply WOW. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member could not finish the movie...horrible Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Delightfully bad apocalyptic movie -- I thought the video-gamey special effects were hilarious, esp the ice geysers, the plot the usual, and the acting of especially the fight scenes just terrible.
