It's worth it for Harris Dickinson and you won't have seen anything like it. Go to Full Review

Here is a diverting, self-conscious fantasy sketch of gay life and gay sensibility composed of what the film-maker imagines or remembers of bygone Soho's lost bohemianism. Go to Full Review
Gary Goldstein Los Angeles Times 11/22/2018
Despite a skillful use of color, lighting, framing and music, the movie's artificiality might have played in a short film but becomes tedious and pretentious when stretched to 90 minutes. Go to Full Review
Kat Halstead Common Sense Media May 14
Dickinson himself is a strong pull, both visually and in terms of his acting prowess, but even though he does what he can with the material, there's just not enough substance there to make much of an impact. Go to Full Review

Aug 28 I liked this film, tho maybe I'm bias because I like Harris Dickinson See more 06/09/2019 Didn't understand this movie at all, too arty (I hate arty!) Harris Dickinson is as beautiful as ever though. See more @jeroduptown 06/01/2019 Attempted to do more than it was capable of. These guys passing off 'intelligent sex' wasn't as insightful as they had wanted. See more 02/23/2019 Caravaggio would be proud of - in fact, I think if he were reincarnated into this lifetime he would BE the protagonist! Who, by the way, is played superbly. Truly he is both within and outside of the art. His character, being adored for his beauty, is authentically tortured because of it. The art history references are both dead-serious and light-hearted at times. And the story moves just like any great work of art: light, dark, contrast, highlight, a touch of color - masterpiece.
