Nic Autostraddle I enjoyed watching it 1) because of its timing, as you said, and 2) because while I knew the broad strokes of the W’s involvement with Say Her Name, Black Lives Matter, and Senator Warnock’s eventual election... Grace R I watched this documentary because Megan Rapinoe and Sue Bird talked to us about it on a Zoom call organized by answerthecall2024 dot com. We're looking for more folks to join the next call and get involved! I loved, loved the documentary. It was deeply emotional and showed how strong and brave the WNBA players were in fighting for justice and making real changes. I was so overwhelmed at the time; I didn't know any of this was happening until we were all shocked to see Georgia turn blue! It was inspiring to see athletes use their voices to stand up for what’s right and make a difference and see how much work went into making that change a reality.
