StephenPaul C LOL, the funniest 01 hours: and 49 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Starring Danny Trejo as Pedro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also featuring the late James Caan as Walter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/15/23 Full Review Audience Member 3.3 . Really liked the scene when the baby store person gave her a hug Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/25/21 Full Review farah r A crazy hilarious movie. Sonja Bennet gave a great performance as a middle-aged loser pretending to be pregnant and facing the consequences of her lie. There are real laugh out loud moments and the story carries out excitingly as she struggles to keep up the act. Preggoland is funny, relatable, and simply good. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member I think the hook about "being left" by her friends would be much better use of the whole "boyfriend & family" stuff. Enjoyable movie, it doesn't look like a Hollywood movie, feels amateurish. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review troy k Not funny and boring enough that I turned it off after about 15 minutes. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Although its narrative isn't exactly fresh, Preggoland's premise is promising enough to have had its satirical potential tapped into with better filmmaking hands. Unfortunately, the film doesn't do as much as it could with the ideas it wants to touch on, and despite the efforts of Sonja Bennett - who makes this mediocre film somewhat watchable - it overall settles for a straight-to-DVD version of a Judd Apatow comedy that neatly wraps up all its complicated little problems by the end of the film. Guy Lodge Variety Pointed social commentary shines through in this uneven but amusing pregnancy farce. May 11, 2015 Full Review Katie Walsh Los Angeles Times For all the implausible, coincidental and slapstick moments, there's a caustic veracity and trenchant social commentary in "Preggoland" that rings particularly true ... May 7, 2015 Full Review Neil Genzlinger New York Times The movie's flaw is that it mixes tones. Ruth, her relatives and her fellow workers are realistically played, but her gal-pal buddies are caricatures. May 7, 2015 Full Review Richard Crouse Richard Crouse The movie's not-so-secret weapon is screenwriter and star Bennett. Relatable, even in her dark moments, she grounds the outlandish elements of the story, making them believable and poignant. Rated: 3.5/5 Feb 3, 2021 Full Review John Fink The Film Stage Part Todd Solondz, John Waters, Nicole Holofcener, and Bridesmaids, the bitter and cynical Preggoland is a unique comedy. Rated: B- Mar 12, 2016 Full Review Brian Orndorf Blu-ray.com A compelling, periodically amusing look at conformity and misunderstanding, finding some fresh material to mine with a plot that's already informed a wide range of comedy projects.
