Audience Member A heartfelt look at the fight to save classic theaters around the United States. Director Jim Fields has put together a wonderful, occasionally heartwrenching look at how the loss of a local theater affects communities and the individuals that live there. Sometimes the forces are too great, such as the battle to save the Indian Hills Theatre in Omaha; other times a surprise benefactor steps in to save the structure and adapt it for modern use, like the Villa Theatre in Salt Lake. The film has inspired Popcorn N Roses and Subject:CINEMA to launch the "Save Our Screens" campaign, pointing out theaters that are in need of some film-goers' love, be it debt relief, maintenance costs, or restoration efforts that are on-going. Thank you Jim for an incredible film! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews
