It is conventionally built, with handsome period costumes and locations (the Allies’ base of operations is at the Downton-esque Mentmore Towers in Buckinghamshire) and the obligatory deployment of Arvo Pärt’s Spiegel im Spiegel at a pivotal moment.

Pressure is less of a traditional war flick than a satisfying chamber piece about how people use and communicate information when the stakes are sky high and groupthink is kicking in. Your dad already has his ticket booked.

I think this movie is a Must see for so many reasons the setting, the cast, awesome cinematography, historically “a True Story”, and the perfectly appointed cast especially that of Chief Meteorologist Captain James Stagg, I think his character made the movie what it was historically relevant and emotionally powerful. I’ve seen it 6 times now and have been moved to tears for totally different reasons every time.
