Prey is a must-watch survival film that will make you look around for a sniper in the trees. From betrayal to tragic accidents, there is a weight to Prey that just works, with its antagonist adding the right amount of twist to surprise viewers.

I expected to watch a bad horror movie with very little rationale or logics. And though the movie didn't transcend the level of a standard horror stuff, it wasn't that bad. It was at least restrained, avoiding unnecessary displays of gore. But the problem is that the only thing the movie seems to care about is to scare the viewer, without bothering to offer a relevant backstory or a credible motivation for the shooter's criminal behavior.
