      Critics Consensus

Chiefly of interest to Nicolas Cage completists and hardcore B-movie fans, this action thriller suffers from an unfortunate lack of Primal energy.

Mighty N Movie is bad but enjoyable for the most part. Watch this when you have nothing else to do. Although, you might want to do something else instead of watching this Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/18/24 Full Review Alex P Decent Film. Good performance from cage. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/11/24 Full Review Chad B A decent movie with good acting all around. Not the greatest, but a solid, very entertaining Nick Cage movie. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/20/23 Full Review GuestLord D The horrible 3DCG ruined most of the movie from the beginning. Problem wise, there was a massive lack of common sense and story. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/10/23 Full Review Daniel W 7/10 - A pretty good survival/action film, but it could have done with a few more Jaguar kills. In this film Nicholas Cage plays a poacher called Walsh who kidnaps and sells animals to the highest bidder. He has most recently captured a very rare White Jaguar and is on a boat to sell it for a small fortune but also on board are some police officers who are transporting a killer (Richard Loffler - Kevin Durand) and during the journey the killer escapes and sets free all the animals. The film starts off very intensely by showing how Nicholas Cage hunts and captures the White Jag. Unfortunately after this the White Jag takes a back seat and when the killer sets her free you only see her kill a few people which isn't very entertaining compared to how many people the killers takes out. Also these kills from the white Jag are brief, but one is gory. The kills from the killer are more intense and shocking, especially from his excellent head shots. There are also some good fight scenes between the killer and Nicholas Cage which are good and intense. As I said at the start the killer sets free all the animals and this makes the film good because as well as a vicious cat you also see some deadly snakes and brutal monkeys that'll claw your face off if you touch their babies. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/03/23 Full Review Emilliano Jr S The trailer got me so I gave it a shot. Now I realized I wasted 1.5 hours of my life. Amy Nicholson FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) It's more brutal than thrilling... I think the plot summary is probably the most tongue-in-cheek about the way it plays out. There’s fighting, gore, guns, isolation and wild animals.
