Audience Member Not for the squeamish or animal rights activists. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Artfully shaped documentary. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Knowing absolutely nothing about this documentary I was in for quite a shock. I'm not into the whole PETA program at all, but some of the experimenting was extremely inhumane and one even made my jaw drop for about 5 seconds. All of it is something about the relationship between humans and monkeys and how we can benefit and learn about evolution by conducting procedural studying (in the '70s). Frederick Wiseman is a great documentarian, taking us from seemingly normal laboratory primate experimenting to near insanity by the end of the film.
