Audience Member Really good family watching right here and yes I recommend it James Welch, Henderson, Arkansas June 5, 2023 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/06/23 Full Review Audience Member A pleasant movie, has some boring moments and has a simple plot when you take away the legend, but still has some beautiful visuals of scotland, some serious thoughts on animal cruelty (a child can still watch it, no worries, not too young though), tries to bring some mystery to the plot, has some feelings and a pretty decent acting. I must say it has some cliché, like the old man as a mentor of the hero and her severe yet still loving father that's keeping her from doing what she wants but the characters are still pretty likeable and touching. But the hunters really are psychos, it makes them a bit over the top and near the end what they're doing is pretty dark! Also a lot of scottish accent, wich is normal but maybe it can make it difficult for some people to understand. So I like this movie and it's a good child movie from my point of view. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Frances H This Hallmark production has the beauty of the Scots' Highlands and the horse to recommend it, but not much else. The girl's acting is not good and the music is horrible. The script is appalling. I'm old enough to remember when Hallmark made outstanding productions, such as Kipling's The Light That Failed with Richard Baseheart and Pamela Brown and Elizabeth and Essex with Charleton Heston and Lynn Fontaine on Hallmark Hall of Fame. We used to look forward to such programs. What happened to them? This movie would be okay for young kids, but offers nothing for adults. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 08/03/13 Full Review ashley h The Princess Stallion is a decent film. It is about a Sarah, a 15 year old Californian girl, who is sent to live with her father on his farm in the Scottish highlands. Ariana Richards and David Robb give good performances. The screenplay is enjoyable but a little slow in places. Mark Haber did an alright job directing this movie. I liked this T.V. film because the drama and adventure. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Horribly mindnumbingly boring. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Was there even a point to this movie? Seriously this was a poorly written, poorly directed, porrly acted, and all around just a poor movie. Sorry but bad guys threating to kidnap your daughter with no weapons and not even choking her is laughable. The father just stands there and watched them without doing anything. Come on I know this isn't a big budget blockbuster, but at least make an effort to put out a decent movie. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
