Audience Member A middle-class mother is sentenced to 10 years in a California prison for a minor racketeering felony. Once there she is soon witnessing and being subjected to a regime of sexual assualt by male guards who are going so far as forcing inmates to work for them in a prostitution ring, smuggling the girls in and out of prison, as required. After several assaults to herself, she resolves to seek justice for herself and her fellow inmates. Fine performances all round in a sensitively handled story.
