lanfranco c In the Dreryfus case all the French Army Establishment was trapped in a fake idea of Honour. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Dreyfuss puts in a solid performance as an honor bound military officer who stubbornly refuses to succumb to pressures to frame an innocent man. The movie does a good job conveying the pressures placed by the state to manufacture an outcome to protect those in power. It is a study in the true meaning of honor in the face of adversity. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member A well-made and intiguing depiction of Dreyfus affair, PRISONER OF HONOR may seem too stagy in structure, but gains its strength from wonderful performances and thought-provoking approach to its subject. Not a typical Ken Russell venture, but a delving into the depths of classic filmmaking! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
