Directed by Manuel Alcalá (Museo), produced by Gerardo Gatica (Ya no estoy aquí, Selva Trágica), Inna Payán (La Jaula de Oro) and Luis Salinas, and narrated by Daniel Giménez Cacho, this documentary presents the life of the investigation journalist Manuel Buendía, who was assassinated in 1984 outside of his office in Mexico City. More than 35 years after his death, this feature-length documentary gathers the voices of different voices contemporary to Buendía, through which his work will be presented and whom testimonies will make the question emerge: who killed Manuel Buendía and why?
