01/22/2012 Dreaming of someone comes to me captivating my past life in a briefcase! :P Such a dominant black-comedy that furnishes the gigantic depiction of previous Yugoslavian territory's ruinous 1990s into an intelligent fictive nutshell with a very simple plot and some real extraordinary flash-backs. Teja, a former dissident under the Milosevic regime, now a prosperous businessman, receives a visit from Luka, the retired secret policeman whose job it was to shadow him for ten years, and who knows more about Teja's life than Teja himself does. The shaggy dog story unfolds in flashbacks as we discover more and more about the characters of our two protagonists, and what they illustrate about the society around them.
