Andrew L. @light4668 Dec 6 Like found footage movies but this was a confusing mess. See more Stephen G. @patient1 Nov 25 So our intro to our story is one of Sadness and Loss, and questions are being asked and sought after. We're getting a glimpse into mere hours before the horrific and unprecedented incident that appears to be the true story, and the implications could be phenomenal and quite terrifying. This is becoming rather fun if you enjoy the scientific possibilities of the subject the film proposes as a reality. This is the most fun I've had watching a film in a long time, and the nerd in me is geeking out at the scientific reasoning behind their premise. See more Adam B Aug 17 An incredibly ambitious, yet flawed mockumentary, Project MKHEXE is a great attempt at small scale documentary based horror. It has so many ideas, and its never a boring ride as the film pours information on you in such a rapid way that only this kind of film can. Its still a very original concept, even within this genre, and brings about alot of cool scenes and sequences. Unfourtunately, in ends off in a way that really doesn't make sense for a film of this style, and the latter third feels very exposition heavy, and not in a fun, creative way like the films opening 2/3rds. See more Jason T Jun 1 I like the documantery style of the movie. This brings a breath of fresh air in one of my favorite horror-subgenres the found footage. The acting is covincing and this movie makes you questioning if this actually happened. It's definitaly a must-watch. See more Scott M May 14 It's clear from watching the film that it was made with a lot of passion and ambition, which is refreshing. However, its reach often exceeds its grasp, and the acting is very uneven. The actor portraying the lead character gives a solid performance, as do a handful of the actors cast in minor roles. However, a few of the key supporting characters are portrayed rather unconvincingly, making suspension of disbelief difficult. Furthermore, the dialogue and narrative structure could both use refinement. On the plus side, the overall concept for the film is very interesting, and the film oozes with style. All in all, a bit of a mixed bag, but a commendable debut directorial effort. See more Alex T May 10 Fresh 🍅 Absolute Gem of the Found Footage Genre. See more Read all reviews
