02/14/2020 where is the movie Prototype! See more 12/26/2014 Prototype X29A Movie Review! 2057. The future. A movie about a distopian future where some people with augmentations went mad (or so we think) and this cyborgs called Prototypes created to destroy them. The movie is easy to get lost into. I found myself so confused throughout the movie. And the final 30 minutes are even more so. The visuals are terrible; and terribly outdated too. For a movie claiming to be in 2057, it has that early 70s feel. And not the good type. The acting sucks, the plot sucks and the movie commits the ultimate sin; it is beyond boring. What a waste of 1 hour and 38 minutes. 1 out of 10. (.5 stars) See more 05/26/2014 Very slow paced but it kept my attention. Went in to it expecting cheesy action which it really doesn't deliver on but it wasn't a total disappointment. See more 07/28/2013 Future apocalyptic nonsense straight to video incoherent drivel. Ultra horny wheelchair bound kid goes in for a Robocop type rebirth to be more attractive to apocalyptic hooker only to find out they are on opposite sides of a cyborg war. Most of the characters hang around badly graffitied sets smoking and after half the movie some one does something interesting. The dialogue is, to put it nicely, atrocious. Most of the characters reactions to events incomprehensible. This is what happens when hour take a half hour show and stick in some hot scenes and unnecessary awful acting to pad it out put it straight to video. Truly woeful.
