01/08/2022 I watched this because Perdita Weeks is in it and because I love supernatural movies. While the main actress does what she can to make this interesting, this may be the worse movie I've ever seen. Great location and set pieces. But the story is pointless and weak. Decent idea of a movie but to lazy to catch any traction. 2/10. Take away Perdita and The main actress and it's .5/10. See more 04/08/2021 We're a wee bit stereotypical with our cast of meat fodder - so much so we don't always remember them - and it's all a little bit by the numbers (I still don't get why they get in the truck with psychopath), but when they land in the abandoned building and the monsters strike, everything goes up a notch. Camera's a little shaky, but there's enough splatter and screams to satisfy. See more 07/18/2020 For a low budget horror, it passes for what it is. Has some ambitious plot concepts, some really great set pieces/locations, and decent intensity. Unfortunately it has cliches riddled throughout, and some really choppy fast paced camerawork during certain sequences. The twist will throw people off but will definitely leave an impact. A solid film overall. See more Don S 10/16/2017 A group of friends hitch a ride to Chicago in the cargo trailer of semi after their vehicle breaks down. The road trip from hell then begins. Instead of Chicago, the six end up at a slaughterhouse overrun with fledgling vampires learning to hunt. The gore is plentiful and done well. The twist, while somewhat original, is completely implausible and leads to an ambiguous ending which is disappointing. Still worth a single viewing if you like vamps. Courtney Hope and Joshua Bowman give horrible performances. The script is badly written. Patrik Syversen did a terrible job directing this movie. I was not impressed with this motion picture.
