09/09/2011 Parce que les films finlandais d'auteur, c'est pas banal ! L'histoire vraie des enfants des tribus du nord de l'URSS qui se font scolarisà (C)s de force. Sans manichà (C)isme aucun, on constate ici le choc des cultures, chacune croyant avoir la solution. Très beau film, avec des personnages forts. Paysages contemplatifs, du coup on s'ennuie un peu quelques fois, mais l'ensemble reste bien agrà (C)able. See more 10/25/2010 A fine piece of ethnographic filmmaking, giving insight into a hidden corner of history when the machine of communism rolled over disparate and isolated cultures. Action packed it ainâ(TM)t, but the performances and simplicity of the story make this well worth a look if you like this kind of thing.
