Jens B 🎃 Less brutal than its predecessors, with weaker puppet tricks and without Torchie (even though he's on the cover!), "Puppet Master 4" still entertains at the same level as the previous two. It’s directed with routine, funny, has a likable main character, and a rubber-nippled villain. This time, the plot revolves around keeping an Egyptian demon at bay. And for me, there’s nothing cuter than seeing Blade, Tunneler, Pinhead, Six Shooter, and Jester teaming up with a computer geek to fight evil. 🔪 Not really a horror film, more of a lighthearted fantasy with cool puppets. And after about 80 minutes, the fun is over. Full Moon movies are like a quick snack for me, mostly without causing any stomachaches. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/06/24 Full Review Alexa V a fun watch and funny Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 05/08/23 Full Review R P Puppet Master 4, a film that is not the worst in the series, it isn't as good as the first couple. The movie felt open ended or ended all of a sudden. In all fairness though, the filming of 4 and 5 happened back to back. Let's hope the next part is good or better. (6/10) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member While defintly forgetting its horror roots its still fun. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member I went with 1 star on this movie, I only seen it once and once is enough. Different cast, same old puppets, same weird Bodega Bay. It was like a Trilogy of Terror meets a horror version of Power Rangers. The puppets are good and sides with a bunch of teens they fight these weird monster things. The movie is dated and aged like milk, I think so far the first one is the best, but I missed the 3rd. film. I plan to continue these movies even though each movie just seems to lack more then the last movies. Terrible acting each film seems like the last movie.
