Jens B 🎃 Wait, didn’t I just watch Part 4 recently?! Oh no, hold on—that was just about 10 minutes of flashbacks. Now, on to Part 5… 🌝 And what can I say? I actually liked the previous one better. Everything here just feels like a slightly altered copy of Part 4. Which isn’t really surprising, considering Parts 4 and 5 were originally meant to be one big theatrical release. That didn’t work out, so now we’re back in the hotel, where the dolls are killing intruders again. Plus, the Egyptian nipple-demon has upgraded and is now using the shiny version of his Bionicles. In the end, we even get a special appearance by the André Toulon doll, and by that point, the movie itself seems fed up, cutting off the main character’s closing narration. 🧪 You can really tell they had to stretch things to hit a runtime of nearly 80 minutes. I can usually deal with that—after all, Band’s style of filmmaking is one of my guilty pleasures—but why do we have to sit through the same plot again? And apparently, five or six people wrote the screenplay?! ❤️‍🔥 I find the robot nerd and his girlfriend super likable, and I’d honestly rather see him as the “Puppet Master,” using his skills and the dolls to fight evil. Somehow, that is the plot, but also kind of not? Either way, it was entertaining—at least we get to see Torch again. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/02/24 Full Review Alexa V it is just reameing the 4 one Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/08/23 Full Review R P Puppet Master 5 is a continuation story from the 4th movie. We have the survivors from the previous movie in this one. I actually like it better than I remember the first time watching it. Maybe I like it for itself or I know just how bad the future movies in this franchise get. Either way I was entertained and fit into the Puppet Master universe. (https://foreverfinalgirl.com/puppet-master-5/) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/05/22 Full Review Audience Member Continuing right where the 4th left off this entry was fun somewhat more kid friendly version with only four not very bloody kills and only one being done by the puppets it serves as a good intended conclusion to the series and had some of my favorite puppet master villains. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member I went with 1 star for this movie. I only seen it once and once is enough, just like the 4 th. movie the puppets are good and on the boys side. They go from a police station back to The B. Bay Inn where the puppets go after a yuppie and his hoard of minions. More of the same if you want to watch a Puppet Master movie start with the first movie and go from there. Again the movie is dated, the acting poor, low budget and the same puppets going after and killing people. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Worst movie ive seen in my whole life. So stupid. I love the puppets but they screwed them with this shitty movie Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews
