It is well acted. It turns the same old, same old gangster thriller screws, but with a fine eye for tension and keeping the audience emotionally involved. Go to Full Review

Just stick to the original: Fate is always more fetching than formula. Go to Full Review

The characters that populate Pusher are surprisingly naïve and hardly the brightest of bulbs. So much for the image of the wily, street-smart criminal. Go to Full Review

What was edgy and exciting in the mid-1990s now fails to deliver the same buzz. Go to Full Review

There are far too many scenes of macho posturing, and not enough character development to make us feel for anyone's plight. Go to Full Review

Drug dealing in the London streets never looked so fanciful and glam rock as it does here, and when it comes time for the violent stripe of degradation to rear its head, there's no bite, no tension, and no feeling. Go to Full Review

04/05/2018 Doesn't even come close to the original. It missed the mark by a mile. Unless you're one of those "I don't like subtitled movies because I get can't read and watch it at the same time" people, just stick to the original film. If you have seen the original, don't waste your time on this one because you will most certainly be disappointed. On that note, don't just watch the original movie. Watch all three. I promise you won't be disappointed by any of them. See more 08/08/2015 Awful. Just awful. The main problems are the last 1hr 26mins, the dialogue throughout and the acting. Otherwise it's ok. See more 08/06/2015 Rotten. Watch the originals. Painful to watch Zlatko have to sign up for this shit. See more 07/11/2015 An English language remake almost the same as the Danish version, so in that respect it's not a bad film. Decent if you've not seen the Danish original, a lesser film if you have. See more 05/18/2015 As usual it's nothing remake and when compared to the original it feels far too inferior. However, on its own merits its a tense, edgy thriller with a solid central performance by Richard Coyle. See more 04/17/2015 Let's take a great Danish small-time gangster movie and give it the 'Lock Stock' treatment shall we? How about let's not? No amount of fancy lighting and camerawork can make this film hide what it really is...pretty pointless. See more Read all reviews
