R 9 Weakest of the three, for me. For large portions of 'Pusher 3' I was not truly feeling it as it was giving major 6/10 vibes, yet by the time it's gut-wrenching (pardon the pun?) final few scenes had concluded I actually wasn't unhappy with what I had just sat through. As noted, I do believe it's below the original two flicks but it kinda works still. The major reason for that is Zlatko Burić. I'm not sure what it is about his (relatively low-key) acting but I just really enjoy watching him perform. He's solid enough in the 1996 and 2004 flicks and I like him in 2012, so finally getting to see him in a lead role I was actually unsure if he was lead worthy - but he is, just about. Burić kept my interest in the film alive, that's a fact. I see he later 'reprised' the role of Milo in the 2012 remake... weirdly. I'll have to check it out one day. The rest of the film doesn't spring any major thoughts into my head, if I'm truthful. I will not forget that final act though - they sure went there! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/25/23 Full Review claudiu s Pusher 3 concluded with the perfect ending to probably my favorite trilogy of all time. In this movie, we get a glimpse into the same gritty Copenhagen underworld through the eyes of Zlatko Buric's great character Milo and the other Yugoslavians. Like in the first 2 parts, we are provided with an excellent character study through the plot, in which we see a more vulnerable part of the main character(Frank, Tonny, Milo) through the issues they are faced with. Another similarity of Pusher 3 with the first 2 movies of the trilogy is how the movie ends. The character is left at a crossroads and some questions are still left unanswered for the viewer to think out( Will Milo be pursued by the gangsters and the police? Will Tonny leave Copenhagen safely? How did Frank proceed and did he meet Milo?). This is brilliant storytelling and it adheres to Nicolas Winding Refn's great directing and screenwriting. A-class cinematography in my favorite movie of my favorite trilogy. Pusher trilogy-10/10 plot, cinematography, acting. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review colin m (The Pusher Trilogy, Part 3) Slice of life of a pusher. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review ari v My favorite of the series, but probably wouldn't work nearly as well without the first one. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The weakest of the trilogy in part because the story of a crime lord is less interesting than the ones of the "street". Sopranos did it first. Winding Refn love for blood and violence is more in display here. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Pusher III: I Am The Angel of Death: Darkly comical and more violent than the previous installments. While Refn has a story to tell and takes the series to a new and unique perspective, Pusher III seems to fail and not click like the previous films and begs the question if maybe we’ve been in this series for too long...
