Audience Member What an extremely bunch of brave women. Prison is hardly a holiday camp in Russia. Especially when you are an enemy of the state. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member A modern day story of feminist movement in Russia with political out cries laced with punk rock music. Locked away in prison for speaking their current national truths. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Nice documentary. Russians fighting for rights we, as Americans, take for granted and don't think anything about every day...... Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Following the feminist punk group Pussy Riot, this documentary shows their capture and conviction by the Russian government after a protest in a famed cathedral. Originally produced by Roast Beef Productions, and released on HBO, it has brought worldwide attention to the plight of the three women sent to prison for simply stating truths of their country, a place where freedom of speech is easily stifled. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member It could use a bit more explication on the Russian legal system. That aside, this is a solid documentary delivered from what seems to be a fairly objective perspective. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews
