The basketball games, while as exciting as any March Madness match, are the least compelling part of the movie, which uses the sport more as a vehicle to explore the journey these inmates have been on since arriving at San Quentin.

Been done before but it's reasonably well pulled off. A focus on the redemptive inspiration of sport inside a tough prison. Nothing too extraordinary about the documentary however it is easy to watch.

Notevole, potente ma non pesante. Senza mai cascare nella retorica. Ti fanno avvicinare a chi ha commesso crimini e ti fanno fare il tifo per loro, senza però mai farti dimenticare che hanno commesso dei crimini violenti. Redenzione si o no, sicuramente un ottimo lavoro.
