Silly acting, comical reactions and text popping up on the screen shows how unserious this movie is. Lots of Taiwanese jokes, idioms, references (they don't always translate well in english). Was OK watch 4.5 stars because the actress lead was kinda cute (she looks like Anya Taylor-Joy).

Loved this movie! I would describe it as a parody of gangster and romance films. It's able to playfully poke fun at both genres, but still tell a story where you love and root for all the characters. I can't remember the last time I laughed this much. It's really dumb and really vulgar at times, but still unbelievably endearing. Recommend!

The strength of this movie is that it doesn't take itself too seriously! It's irreverent, stupid and hilarious. We laughed from beginning to end. And even with all of the comedy, it had a lot of heart! Find someone who loves you enough to let you give them a bad haircut.
