David J A sizzling insight into the 60s, especially, through the glorious lens of Mary Quant's talents. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/21/23 Full Review Audience Member I thought Quant deserved more than this. The whole to thing felt understated and left me feeling underwhelmed. I was unfamiliar with most of the commentators, some like Kate Moss were just so brief and why Charlotte Tilbury? No one had anything to say really that wasn't already known. The best part was having insight into the most amazing relationship Mary had with her husband - that was touchingly poingnant and moving. It just wasn't as ambitious as Mary. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Very much enjoyed this trip back to the Sixties with lots of original footage. I felt the modern addition of Camilla Rutherford slightly unnecessary as film of the grand dame herself was enough. Would have enjoyed an interview with Twiggy, but perhaps she declined to be interviewed. My personal feeling was I would prefer less of the talking heads talking to camera as while their reminisces were fascinating and important, I would have preferred them talking over more original footage (couldn't get enough of that). I'm sure La Quant would be very happy with this accurate and entertaining depiction of her amazing life. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews
