Audience Member Some nice ideas- however it doesn't look very good when connecting them together. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Queen of Montreuil's lighthearted humor and feel-good mood soften its subject of grief quite earnestly. The culture clash also provides some quirky comedic elements that work pretty well, and the performances are quite engaging all around (The seal is just adorable.). The film may be too "light" or "cutesy" for some, but overall it works for me. It's not a film to weep or cry out about, but it's a fine little gem.
