Steve D The script is laughable and way too self serious. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 08/30/23 Full Review Zero C I watched this movie growing up and I can still watch it today. It's that timeless for me personally. And I also love the editing how Kevin Bacon's haircut changes. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/23/23 Full Review Cheney W Despite what the reviews say, this film was beautifully shot. It's a snapshot in time of urban 1980s America. The acting is… not the best. And the stereotyping and typecasting makes you gag. But still, you got Kevin Bacon and Laurence Fishburne flying through the city streets together. Paul Rodriguez is absolutely wonderful. The scene with the bike tricks is incredible. And the lack of any coherent plot leaves you guessing as to what comes next. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/02/23 Full Review Adrian H This is a Kevin Bacon cult classic. It's got a lot of "deep" moments that are accompanied by a fantastic score by Tony Banks, which really helps set the mood and emotion of what the protagonist is going through. The story may not be perfect, or as "epic" as might be expected, but we get the idea, and it conveys its message in a profound way. I especially like how it pays homage to life on the streets, and the freedom and ruggedness that type of simpler life could bring. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/22/22 Full Review Audience Member The pitch is basically Breakin' (with bikes) meets Trading Places, so I guess it's Bikin' Places? Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member An enjoyable film if you are in to bicycles. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Paul Attanasio Washington Post Quicksilver youthsploitation moviemaking at its most youthsploitative, doesn't include breakdancing, although it does include bikedancing, which sort of rhymes with breakdancing. Jan 3, 2018 Full Review Walter Goodman New York Times As long as the characters are doing stunts or whizzing impossibly through city traffic to a strong rock beat, there's something to watch. For the rest of the time, ''Quicksilver'' is as much fun as a slow leak. May 21, 2003 Full Review Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times The movie has moments when it comes to life, when it threatens to tell a story about interesting people, and then it wanders off into inane scenes designed only to sell records. Rated: 2/4 Jan 1, 2000 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews Quicksilver fares best in its familiar yet entertaining opening stretch... Rated: 2/4 Jan 1, 2021 Full Review Felix Vasquez Jr. Cinema Crazed Still holds up well and entertains thoroughly.
